On deciding to commission a portrait, please contact us for further details,
and to obtain a more precise delivery time. Please bear in mind that for a
period after Crufts and the run up to Christmas, Vic is always extremely busy
with orders. We always try to work to a specific date if it is for a special
occasion, however, we do need as much notice as possible.
Now, you need to make some decisions..... Do you want the portrait framing by
us, or and unframed portrait to frame yourself? Do you just want a head study
(most popular) or would you like a full body or background adding? Is it one
dog, two dogs or 5 dogs you want painting? Aaah, decisions, decisions!
We
can accept photographs in the post or very good digital images via email for
commissions. We are in a position to take photographs ourselves, however, this
always depends on how busy we are, distance and what is involved. Our preferred
method is photos in the post, which are always returned.
Full payment is required upfront with the photographs before the commission is
started, however, a full refund or replacement is offered if you are not
completely satisfied with the commission. This has thankfully never happened!
Finally, sit back, relax and get extremely over excited and unable to contain
yourself while waiting for delivery! This is what most of our customers do, and
even send us a few emails to ask about progress of your furry friends portrait.
We completely understand you will be excited and a little nervous to receive it,
everyone is!
FRAMING
For all our commissions and prints, we offer a full framing service.
All our portraits & prints are framed at SpeedFrame at Lincoln, who are a large professional framing company.
We can offer a large variety of frame colours, styles and sizes, all fully mounted to suit the subject and tones etc.
